The Director of Athletic Advising is concerned that the faculty advisors are not keeping abreast of the regulations and information that applies to athletes and their academic standing. There is a yearly training that everyone attends in person but she knows that they often are doing other things on their phones and worries they aren’t adequately trained which could have serious repercussions for the students and the university. She wants to try something more fun and engaging and is wondering if using gamification could be used as the required training and has come to you for suggestions. What kinds of ideas would you propose? |

In this activity, I had the opportunity to learn more about Micro-Learning through the completion of BADGR and a module from the Duolingo Turkish series. I also learned more about EdX and their MicroMasters program. |

In this Technology Analysis project, the incorporation of Frontline in the pedagogy program is explored in detail. Frontline is a software that allows for professional development to be targeted specifically for areas of need. When implemented, this would allow student teachers and teaching candidates to work towards achieving mastery in skills that will ultimately give them the opportunity to refine their skills.
