ObjectiveThe purpose of this portfolio is to showcase a variety of lessons that effectively implement and exemplify the principles of different teaching models with the intent of demonstrating different pedagogical approaches that aim to support student academic success.
PurposeThe objective of this portfolio is to demonstrate different models of teaching through a collection of designed lessons. Each lesson, designed as part of my course requirements for EDUC 6330: Teaching Methodology for the Professional, models a different model of teaching, thus exhibiting a different style and consequently diversifying the role of an educator in ensuring and supporting students’ academic success.

The lesson presentation video is modelling the Non-Directive teaching model in the virtual learning environment. Creating this video was a very exciting experience as I had the opportunity to employ the skills that I learned throughout this course.
Model: Non-Directive Teaching Topic: Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Grade Level: 10-12th Grade Objectives: We will examine the impact and correlation of perception and high school completion rates. I will reflect on the meaning and impact of education and develop a plan of action to improve high school completion rates. |
